Over a six-week period of the school vacation (July/August), the Improving Forest and Protected Area Management in Trinidad and Tobago project hosted a young intern of the Forestry Division, Mr. Bryce Orr. While assisting the project team on various activities of the project, Bryce undertook a research activity on the topic of clearing of rivers, particularly after floods.
